Installations of serie ÓÏÏ stepless start
Use stepless start installations permits:
- to limit start engine current on the prescribed level;
- to exclude mechanical load impacts to the equipment;
- to prescribe required rate of mechanism running till the stable speed;
- to realize electric engine reverse;
- to supply electric engine protection from currents failure;
- to prevent no-permissible voltage slump (settlement) in supplying mains at start.
BASIC CHARACTERISTICS
Output voltage –3 phases (0…380)V 2 %, 50/60 Hz;
Switching off time of s. c. impact current – not over than 20 ms;
Descrete imputs – 4;
Descrete outputs – 3;
Ambient conditions: +1…+40 °C, humidity 80 %.
BASIC OPERATION MODES
All the stepless start installations are built according to the united ideologie and provides with electric drive operation in modes:
- stepless start of ÀÄ with the set pace, with controlled limiting of start current;
- accelerative start;
- output voltage control in the energy care mode;
- stepless stop with the set pace;
- stop with free running out;
- dynamic braking;
- sub-braking with d.c.;
- ÀÄ protection and mechanisms in failure and no-issued modes;
- failures detection in failure modes.
Stepless start installation represents reverse (no-reverse) three-phase thyristor commutator with multifunctioning control system, based on the microprocessor controller and developed user interface.
Built-in control desk, contained keyboard and indicators, presents wide possibilities to the user:
- parameters programming from built-in control desk (parameters are kept at switching off mains);
- base parameters control (current, voltage, power, cooler temperature, etc.) “on the go’;
- control with remote-control-station (till 200 m);
- control according to electroplating decoupling channel RS-485 or RS-232;
- protection system programming (current, time-current, temperature, currents and voltages asymmetry).
According to customer requirement ÓÏÏ may be completed by distant control desk and external contactor.
DESIGN AND COOLING
From design point of view, stepless start installations are carried out, as viewed shed cabinets of one-sided service. Side face ÓÏÏ has door, where control desk is installed.
Used thyristor commutator valves have module version with isolated no-potential cases (of own manufacture) and are installed at common group cooler. Power units cooling ÓÏÏ-25(63)-380-50-ÓÕË4 – air natural, into ÓÏÏ-160(250, 400, 630)-380-50-ÓÕË4 – air forced, with the help of built-in fans. Air intake is realized from the environment.
Power circuits tyres for external switching ÓÏÏ are disposed at the low cabinet part. Cables supply is realized from below via special openings in the cabinet bottom. Cabinet ÓÏÏ has protection degree IP21, siting category ÓÕË4.
RELIABILITY INDICATORS
Average operation at failure – not less than 20 000 hours.
Average service life – not less than 15 years.
Average specified life – 45 000 hours at (=80 %);
Average time of restoration – not over than 1 year
